Northwood Deaconess Health Centre (NDHC) breaks ground on healthcare campus expansive renovation with an investment of US$39.6 million.

Features: 
The new and upcoming renovation of facilities aims to modernise and expand services, elevate the patient care experience, and provide better support for staff. This initiative will see an expansion of outpatient services to effectively meet the healthcare needs of communities.

The project, which last underwent renovations almost three decades ago, is now poised for significant upgrades. These enhancements will involve the addition of over 23,000 square feet of new construction dedicated to accommodating 16 long-term care rooms and nine in-patient care rooms. 

Additionally, the upgrades will encompass redesigning current spaces to bolster the expansion of outpatient services, encompassing therapies, CT scanning, and the escalating need for specialised services such as endoscopies.

A key feature of the renovation focuses on upgrading senior living facilities to meet contemporary space and privacy standards within a community-inspired ambiance. The redesigned layout incorporates more spacious resident rooms with private bathrooms, prioritising accessibility for all occupants.
